Kennedy was founded in 2005 by Elizabeth Kennedy, recognized interior designer and project manager. Elizabeth combines management and creative skills with sound business sense and a deep understanding of client needs and practice.
Before creating Kennedy, Elizabeth completed a bachelor degree of interior design at Toronto’s Ryerson University. She went on to work with many internationally awarded design and architectural firms in Toronto and St. John’s.
During her time with burdifilek and PHB Group, Elizabeth managed and designed many corporate, commercial, health care and hospitality projects. In 2008 she attained NCIDQ certification for Interior Design professionals and continues membership with Canadian associations.
She continues to gain knowledge and expertise through ongoing education and certifications.
Elizabeth completed her Masters Certificate in Project Management from York University, Schulich School of Business in 2009, then went on to complete the PMP (Project Management Professional Certification) in 2010.
She has an invested interest in sustainability and green design and is presently working on her LEED certification.
Elizabeth believes in and invests in the local community and province, she is an elected board member of the DDC (Downtown Development Commission) and is a director of numerous sub commitees.
Through experience and education her designs are true to the health and safety and well being of all clients and communities.
